The Campbell Justice Research Group (CJRG) LLC is an interdisciplinary research collaborative that develops, implements, and disseminates evidence-based practices in the areas of racial justice, social equity, criminal justice, and behavioral health. CJRG also provides curriculum, training, workshops, and support for practitioners in areas of education, corrections, policing, criminal justice, and industry.

  • Our mission is to promote diversity and reduce disparities of youth and families involved in the justice and child welfare systems and support disadvantaged communities.

  • We believe that change, growth, and justice happens through compassion, innovative strength-based approaches to research, participatory modes of inquiry, and treating stakeholders who are historically marginalized as experts of their experiences.

Meet Our Team

  • Founder & Director

    Dr. Campbell is a community psychologist and criminal justice expert. She has over a decade of experience with program development, assessment design, and program evaluation involving youth, families, schools, and underserved communities.

  • Program Evaluator and Policy Analyst

    Dr. Onifade is a community psychologist and social worker with over a decade in program/policy evaluation and design, related to programs servicing marginalized individuals and communities.

  • Partner

    Dr. Miller is a criminologist and evaluation scientist. He has experience leading evaluations of court programs and policies, inpatient and outpatient substance misuse treatment centers, correctional officer training academies, first responder training curricula, and risk assessment practices. He has also provided technical assistance to administrators in the judicial and corrections sectors.
